Biography
At Sutherland Law, PLC, in Grand Rapids, Michigan, attorney Kjirsten Nelson Anderson dedicates her practice exclusively to landlord-tenant matters. Ms. Anderson was born in Lansing, Michigan. She grew up in Gunnison, Colorado. She attended Snow College in Ephraim, UT and played collegiate volleyball there. Later, she transferred to Brigham Young University–Hawaii in Laie, Hawaii. At BYU-Hawaii, she played Division II basketball. She graduated cum laude with a bachelor's degree in history.
v pursued her legal education at Cooley Law School, where she simultaneously served as an assistant at a local law firm and as a teacher's assistant and graduate assistant at Cooley. Her involvement in the Moot Court led her to the position of Vice Chairperson. In May 2021, she achieved the distinction of graduating magna cum laude from Cooley Law School. Following her graduation, she embarked on a career as a probate attorney in Jackson, Michigan. In 2022, she relocated to Muskegon to further expand her professional horizons.
Kjirsten resides in the Muskegon area with her husband and their son. Together, they find joy in activities such as disc golf, beach outings, volleyball and unwinding at home while indulging in movies.
